Leslie Koren, MHC-LP

Psychotherapist

Leslie believes in the transformative power of an attuned therapeutic relationship in which clients feel seen and can tune into themselves. Through her kind, collaborative and participatory approach, she offers insights and resources to help people heal and move toward a more fulfilling existence.

As an integrated therapist, Leslie employs a mix of modalities depending upon each person’s unique needs and circumstances, including mindfulness, person-centered, parts work, and DBT. She has treated clients navigating ADHD, addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, pervasive shame, stress, and trauma. Leslie acknowledges the impact of environmental, social, and structural systems on individuals and trusts that the liberation of one being radiates out to the world. She aims to deliver culturally responsive care for everyone she sees.

Leslie is a longtime student of mindfulness and somatic methods, both of which she incorporates in her work with individuals, couples, and groups. She authored three books—Morning Rituals, Restorative Rituals, and Love Rituals—that encourage nourishing practices in everyday life. She holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College.
