Meghan Biron

Psychotherapist

(waitlist for new clients)

Meg (she/her) strives to create a safe, collaborative, and affirming space where clients feel supported in exploring both the painful and hopeful parts of their experience. She values the courage it takes to begin therapy and approaches each client with care, curiosity, and deep respect.

Meg has experience supporting individuals with anxiety, relationship challenges, identity exploration, recovery from addiction, grief, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about working with queer, trans, and gender-expansive people.

Meg helps clients examine the beliefs and patterns that may be keeping them stuck or disconnected. She supports people in moving toward lives that feel more aligned with their values—where they can show up more fully in relationships, work, and daily life. Her work attends to how past experiences, cultural narratives, and systemic forces shape identity and self-understanding, while helping clients shift those dynamics with intention and compassion.

Her approach draws from relational, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed practices, and integrates mindfulness as a tool for developing awareness and meeting experience without judgment. She works with adults, families, and couples, and holds a Master’s in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
