Kim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New York City specializing in individual and couples psychotherapy. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Hunter College and completed post-graduate training at the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational Studies. Additionally, Kim is also a licensed attorney. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School and practices in the areas of alternative dispute resolution, health law, and mediation.
Specialized trainings include certification in Levels 1-3 EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for working with trauma, Internal Family Systems, and Maternal Mental Health focusing on fertility issues, miscarriage, and neonatal loss. She also incorporates financial therapy into her work, helping individuals and couples navigate financial anxiety, career transitions and relationship dynamics around money. Her interdisciplinary background brings a nuanced understanding of high-pressure environments, complex systems, and the emotional dimensions of decision-making.
